Drop-in Workshop
Saturday 15th June | 12pm – 4pm
Vault Artist Studios Gallery & Project Space, Marlborough House
28- 32 Victoria St, BT1 3GG Belfast
Everybody loved the last workshop and lots of people said they were extremely sad face to miss it. Now we’re super-excited to be able to do it again, and bigger this time!
Boatbuilding for Creatives Part II: We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat is a 4-hour long drop-in workshop taking place downstairs at Vault’s city centre Gallery | Project Space and facilitated by artists Leo Boyd & Laura Nelson.
We made the duration longer to allow more time to get creative and expand our minds. The workshop is open to everyone and is absolutely free.
So come along, drop-in, build your first boat or your 100th, a surrealist skiff, a cubist coracle or DADA tall ship and then we’ll see if they float in the inflatable paddling pool.
Boatbuilding for Creatives Part II: We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat is part of a giant project called WATER WORKS and is brought to you by PS2 for Belfast 2024.
Save the date!
The 10,000 boats produced during the project will be launched on the river Lagan on Saturday 3 August. Accompanied by performers, processions and pontoons, this will be the spectacular culmination of WATER WORKS. Find out more here: https://www.waterworks.site and on Instagram @pssquared
